Coca-Cola’s ‘Share a Coke’ campaign wanted to evoke team spirit throughout the 2019 Fall Football season uniting friends, fans and rivals from Pro and College NFL teams across the USA. We designed an iconic Coca-Cola football helmet, integrating the classic bottle icon into the facemask.
This was used across cans and multi-packs as the unifying symbol while space was created to allow a flexible system for hyper-local customisation. The logos from 53 participating college teams and six professional teams were used in the customisation process across the country. So, on game days, true fans could really drink in the atmosphere – and feel physically and emotionally connected.
